Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually happening.
